Blog 8: Summer Plans
Hi everyone,
Today we are going to talk about summer plans. To be honest, I barely know what I'm going to do for Christmas LOL.
Anyways, I know I will be going to Boston and New York at the end of January for about 2 weeks to visit my mom and that side of my family. It will be really cold, like with snow (probably) and everything. I will be excited to see my cousins, Kylee and Sarah, who live in New York and are basically my younger sisters. I still have some friends from my childhood in that area so it will be nice to see some of them.
My mom wants us to go to Cuba :O which would be amazing, especially since there is an American airline called JetBlue, which is always really cheap and they now have a direct flight from Boston to La Habana. Going to Cuba would be a dream come true, so we will see what happens there.
I do have to say that I dislike going to the States each time I go. I forget how expensive things are and how racist people are there, but New York is my favorite American city because it is so multicultural there and people tend to less racist there. Plus there are a lot of Latinos and Latinas there.
Now tell me what you guys and girls will be doing. I bet some of you will do some fun things :)

ResponderBorrarI cannot agree more with you, Benji! USA has a lot of racism and hate against people that are different, but New York is one of those places that are living examples of how things can be the other way around.
